the room has its own style.
Our room is facing street which have a few clubs and bars, will be noisy at weekend nights. A/C seems not strong enough.

Clean, ok location, free wifi
The sound in the rooms was horrible -- I could hear another person pouring something into a bowl! Odor in the bathroom, and the room was very tight - I kept bumping into this "shelf"

The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a great ensuite and a small balcony overlooking the square. Easy access to multiple attractions in a vibrant neighborhood made exploring easy.
Ended up having to create two singles myself. The bathroom lacked functional amenities, and the overall ambiance suffered due to poorly lit stairwells and a complex key system for entry. Noise from neighboring rooms disrupted sleep, particularly due to the thin walls and squeaky floors.

The location is unbeatable, right in the center, Plaza del Mayor, and other attractions on foot. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice ensuite and a small balcony overlooking the square. Staff provided a warm welcome and were attentive throughout our stay. The square can be noisy at night with skateboarders, and the internal walls are thin were good.

Excellent central location in the Callao/Santa Domingo area, which is close to the restaurants and shopping areas(Gran Via/Chueca/Puerta de Sol) as well as the attractions(Jardines de Sabbatini/Royal Palace/Plaza de Cibeles).
for a very basic hostal, price could be better.

Stayed at Gala for 4 nights. Great receptionist greeting from Irene, she has been a very helpful! The hotel is very closed to Metro and City Center. The room is with two twin beds but we put them together became a queen size. The balcony is nice, facing the street, have some street noise but it was not bad at all! Everything was excellent, will definitely recommend to others!
